Barbara Richardson came to Sunday Dinner
Barbara is one of my most long-time friends.
Years ago we worked together at the National
Institute for Education and left together with all the other
Excepted Service employees at the pleasure of the newly minted
political appointee Checker Finn.
Barbara left to become the Academic
Vice President at West Virginia Wesleyan and then Professor at
Western Michigan University from which she retired in 2008.
Over the years, I've visited Barbara many times in
Michigan and at her summer home in Maine,
and most recently at her winter home in Florida.
