Once Upon a Time I went to the H Street Festival with my godson, family and friends

Olivia, Victoria and I had fun walking the 15 blocks to rendezvous with Mike and the others. I was amazed at how all the kids walked the long distance from union station to and from the festival. On the way back Victoria and I had fun adding a new "very" to the phrase "we are getting close" each time we got to a new block. We got to very very very very very ... Close. We had 12 beets.

The H Street Festival is an annual street festival with more than 30 musical and dance performances, a fashion show preview of DC Fashion Week, face painting, rock climbing, basketball games, carnival games, free popcorn, cotton candy, and dog tag making, a fully-loaded Hummer display, luxury car displays, free health screenings, crafts, and international foods stretching along a 1.5-mile long corridor.
