Ruins at Monte Alban

Five miles west of Oaxaca City lie the spectacular and mysterious Monte Alban ruins. 

It is difficult to comprehend the amount of labor, the technologies, and the civilization that built them.

Like the Anasazi ruins at Hovenweep and Chaco and Bandelier, my camera was not able to cross the chasm between those who live here and built this place and my present time.
