Irenic Scene with Spanish Moss

Along side much of Loop Road are waterways like this, which even on the detailed National Park Service maps have no name.

Spanish Moss draped the various trees as we drove along from one scene like this through dark, impenetrable mangrove and cypress stands to another scene like this.

Barely visible on the center rock is an alligator lounging in the sun. Another is in the water on the far shore to the right of the two big rocks.
