Our Florida trip began in Orlando (1999 city pop. 184,639 and avg. age 33), the hub of Central Florida and the most frequent destination in the state. Orlando International Airport is the 24th largest airport in the world and the 4th fastest growing. In 2000, 31 million passengers arrived. 

It is home to such attractions as Disney MGM Studios, Disney World/Epcot, Gatorland, Sea World, Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, Church Street Station and Wet N' Wild.

On February 1, we added two more to the head count for 2001 and headed off to the Gulf Coast.
