Three Days at Daytona Beach

We skipped the Space Center at Cape Kennedy and drove directly up to Daytona Beach where we spent the last three days of our tour with Nancy Jane (See: Nancy Jane - Why People Retire to Florida).

We toured the area and visited a number of the surrounding towns. One of the highlights was having lunch outdoors at a sidewalk restaurant in DeLand. 

Another was a trip to the Blue Springs State Park, which is the winter home of hundreds of manatees because the water temperature is a constant 72 degrees.

From here, it was back to Orlando and the home to DC.
