Army-Navy Football Rivalry TrophiesThe Army-Navy Football rivalry is one of the most enduring traditions in college sports, and dates back to November. 29, 1890. Shane is an ardent football player. I thought he might be interested in these trophies. Navy at this time has won three games in a row and leads the series by one game. |

Glimpse of the USNA CampusWe began our visit by watching a very well done film introduction to the life of a Midshipman at the Academy. We then took a guided tour of the campus.

Hemmingway's Restaurant on Chesapeake BayAfter touring the Academy, we drove out to Hemmingway's Restaurant on Chesapeake Bay for a late lunch. Hemmingway's is one of Brian and my favorite seafood restaurants, and used to be a regular stop on our way back and forth to the Eastern Shore. I love the view of the bay with the great bridge and sailboats, and Brian loved the steamed clams. |

Sandy Point State ParkComing home, we stopped at the Sandy Point State Park, which is located on the shore immediately west of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. It was a lovely, warm, sunny late spring day, so Shane and I went wading while Brian took a nap. Shane regretted not having a swim suit. |
